 IKEA : THE REAL FOREST MAFIA

In today's day to day life people often opt for quick purchase for household and they would often visit local stores. As technology growth is witnessed in all sector people often ignore the background of companies as they hugely capitalized market with different products. One of the Giants IKEA originating from Sweden is household thing in most of countries but people often disregard the base chain of their products. IKEA has often heavily capitalized in market using word 'sustainable forest' which is an absolute lie and a heavily mechanized propaganda in news. One case that stands out in Romania where more than half of forests are owned by IKEA. The Forests in Romania are part of millions of years of ecosystem and in recent lobbying Romanian politicians to get control on the forest is often seen. Neither IKEA nor the Romanian government officials comment on this issue. It was then discovered by some news outlet when local people were questioned about the deforestation and indeed half of forests are already cut down to ground. In recent we have seen climate change organizations often emphasize on deforestation as the main cause in climate change but various government often ignore this issues. Due to high deforestation rate in Romania the soil has lost its properties for regrowth and it often leads to disaster. Hopefully the Romanian government will answer this kind of things which dampen the ecosystem. There is need to propose sanctions on industries like IKEA.
